Galliford Try is carrying-out the construction of a new £36 million office building project providing bespoke office accommodation for London Borough of Barnet.  The project forms part of the Colindale regeneration programme.

The new development is nine story’s building with a recreational terrace area on the 4th floor and decorative panelling all around the roof area. Once completed the building will provide a modern working environment for up to 1200 people. The structure is a post tensioned concrete frame with a glazed curtain walling with feature brickwork.

The building provides office space as well as a cafe that can be found on the ground floor. Following an adaptation of the design, working with the architect, Hawkins Brown we had to adapt the previous scheme. This required an additional floor space to incorporate additional community facilities such as social services, a business innovation hub and a public conference suite. The new scheme had to be provided within the same budget which required a significant re-design and rationalisation of the previously proposed building form and structure.

The new facility supports the London Borough of Barnet in working closer with the community.

Your visit will start with a brief site induction and presentation before being taken out in protective clothing for a tour of the site, this will be led by our experienced site team.

In addition to the tour you will have a chance for a Q&A session with some of our Senior project team. This will hopefully give you an insight into Galliford Try and the diverse roles and opportunities we can offer.

We look forward to seeing you there.
