Redevelopment at the University of Exeter for the provision of 3 Student Hubs across the campus. The function of the student hubs is to provide break out and social spaces for students improving the Student Experience at the Campus.
The 3 hubs comprise:-
(i) Peter Chalk – Partial demolition of existing facility for new build extension circa 579m2, comprising teaching space, circulation space and new student hub all subject to sectional completions. New extension is steel frame with curtain walling and composite deck roof make up.
(ii) Harrison Building – New prefabricated modular extension circa 146m2 to a courtyard infill area. Groundworks including diversion of underground services and drainage undertaken to accommodate landing the prefabricated units by 500t crane.
(iii) Washington Singer – Refurbishment of existing space circa 102m2, across 2 floors of an existing Grade II listed building.
