Lovell was appointed to construct affordable homes on land at Victoria Street in Blantyre on behalf of Clyde Valley Housing Association.

Commencing on site in March 2017, this project will deliver 38 new affordable homes – 20 houses and 18 flats.

The new timber-framed development, scheduled for completion in May 2018, will provide smart, modern homes built to high energy-efficiency standards, helping minimise residents’ energy bills. Some of the properties will meet the Scottish Building Standards Silver level (Aspects 1 and 2) thanks to their low-energy heating systems and reduced carbon emissions. This will be achieved through a range of green technology including high-efficiency combi boilers and advanced insulation. 

Lovell will also create new roads and infrastructure to serve the development.
