This £17 million project will provide state-of-the-art health and social care services to the local Gorbals community situated just south of the River Clyde.  It has been designed to reflect existing surrounding buildings and will replace the current health centre.  The new building will provide 4 general paractices as well as a dental practice, social services, treatment rooms and other community spaces

Welcoming you to our Gorbals Health & Care Centre project, participants will get a fascinating insight into the process and management of the construction of this new building just south of the River Clyde.

Although the structure now fully complete there are still opportunities to see how the fabric of the building has been constructed. There will be opportunities to view the building from a number of different locations to see how all the different components have come together. Internally, as we progress with the fit out of the various floors, you will see how the building services run around each of the floors before we finish off ceilings and start to put the final finishes together.

With Scaffolding coming down, it will start to reveal the building, allowing you to view the expanse of glass which will make building a light and airy place in which to work. Internally you will be able to stand in the large atrium area which allows views of one of the two courtyards, and onto one of the terraced areas where staff will be able use and enjoy.

Our team will walk and talk participants through the highlights and challenges of this fantastic new building, which has been designed to complement existing surrounding buildings in the Gorbals area.
