Principal Place Residential Project is the construction of a 50 storey luxury residential tower on the edge of the City of London providing 301 apartments for private sale. The project also includes a 13 storey affordable housing block and a 5 storey building providing socially rented accommodation.
The Project is based on “Top Down” Construction Methodology, in which the Ground floor slab is cast and then the basements are formed in conjunction with constructing the core of the building.
A Unitised cladding system is to be used on the main residential tower in order to optimise the size of the cladding panels and in order to reduce the overall installation programme.
The cladding of the residential tower is a product of the buildings function, providing a distinctly residential feel with a strongly textured façade that is expressive of the internal arrangements.
On arrival, all visitors will receive a visitors induction before a project presentation. Following this, visitors will then be provided with PPE and escorted around the project by a member of the construction team where they can see first-hand the works that are taking place behind the scenes.
