Plot M0119 forms part of Phase 2 of the Greenwich Peninsula Riverside (GPR) Master plan. Plot M0119 is situated towards the south east of the peninsula, adjacent to the M0116 project. The proposed development for plot M0119 is a non-residential, mixed use building comprising the following:
• Café and deli (shell & core including ventilation only)
• Estate management suite
• Day nursery
• Prayer space
• Community use spaces
The building is situated centrally within the Phase 2 Riverside element of the Masterplan for the peninsula, and provides amenity and community services for the residents living in the apartment buildings surrounding the project. The use of these facilities are provided to the end users as part of the tenancy/sale of the residential units, therefore the scheme is of paramount importance to the client relative to the sale and completion of this phase of the larger development.
The building will comprise of a mix of piled foundations and the use of an existing concrete slab to support the structure, a concrete frame superstructure with an anodised aluminium and glass façade. The building will rise to 5 storeys, with a single storey section to the Northern tip of the building. The façade is a bespoke inside-out cladding system, with external vertical anodised aluminium fins, glazed to the internal face, with perforated corrugated anodised aluminium panels in front of a solid wall build up. This is combined with a traditional curtain wall system to the ground floor, parts of level 5 and recessed areas up the building. An open anodised aluminium screen extends above the first floor terrace area.
The job will be in its finishes stages at this point, a walk around the project showing the different building uses can be arranged, and a focus on the individual façade this project has.
To be confirmed later, note that the entrance may change by this point, assuming the public realm works have progressed
