Woodford County High School is a Secondary Grammar School for Girls located in Woodford Green in the London Borough of Redbridge.

The works include construction of a new science and teaching building, netball courts and external works including parking spaces and re-purposing of the decanted spaces within the 1930s South Wing.

The main building comprises of two separate and clearly defined rectilinear building masses with concrete frame structure, render and brick facade. The longer science block adjacent to the sports hall provides focused and pragmatic learning space whilst the shorter teaching block provides practical and open learning spaces set within a pleasant garden setting.

Both blocks are three storeys high but the teaching block is set off by one storey relative to the science block. The overall gross internal area created by the building is approximately 3800sq m.

The site is nearing to completion so will be geting ready for finishing and handing over to the client. Activities will mainly consist of:

- painting walls

- testing electrics

- installing furniture

This is a fantastic opportunity to see a local site that it is nearing it's completion. On the tour you will be able to see how every tiny detail is considered when finishing a site.
