Highbury Corner Bridge

Skanska Contact

Skanska are contracted by Transport for London on a multi-utilities diversion project. An underground railway bridge outside Highbury and Islington station needs replacement. Gas, water, electricity and communications utilites currently run through the bridge so Skanska is instructed to divert these utilites before the replacement of the bridge.

Visitors to this site will have the opportunity to:

- attend an informative presentation about the work currently underway on site

- learn about some of the different career prospects in the construction industry

- meet some of the diverse people working on this project, after they give a short presentation about their roles

Unfortunatly due to the tight constraints of the site it is not possible for us to organise site visits. However, the public are able to view the site from Holloway Road in their own time and will have an understanding of the work happening after attending the presentation in our site office.
