Crossrail Whitechapel

Crossrail Contact

Crossrail is the biggest construction project in Europe and is one of the largest single infrastructure investments undertaken in the UK. We are managing and delivering a multiple worksite programme with construction works running concurrently across the whole route. Over 100,000 hours have been worked on the project by people at over 40 construction sites.

The Open Doors events are a perfect opportunity for those interested in the construction industry, to visit our site and learn about the Crossrail story first hand. Whitechapel Station will provide a vital interchange between Crossrail, London Overground services and the London Underground. At peak times there will be 24 Crossrail trains per hour in each direction – in addition to the existing London Underground and London Overground services. This will not only ease overcrowding on the existing services but also support the economic growth in the surrounding area.

All bookings will be available via the Crossrail Eventbrite:

Visitors to the site will learn more about the Crossrail project, what it's like to work in the construction industry, and advice on where to go for further information.

After arriving at our site office you will meet and receive a presentation on our work and the kind of opportunities available in the construction industry.

Following the presentation there will be a view from a safe platform into the new station box area to show the progress being made.

We encourage you to ask as many questions as you want during the presentation and tour, this is an exclusive opportunity to meet our staff and see our site.

All bookings will be available via the Crossrail Eventbrite:
