22 Bishopsgate is located on one of the busiest roads in the City of London. The finished building will stand at 278 meters tall and will comprise of 62 Floors with a public viewing gallery at the top. Once complete the building will house 11,000 people. The current construction phase of works includes concrete pouring to the North and South cores as they climb together. Steel installation follows closely behind with cladding panels being installed. Some elements of demolition work continue but the main focus of work is the construction to both the North and South cores, steel installation, lift installation, cladding installation, and finally the construction of the floor plates to form the shape of the building.
On arrival, all visitors will receive a visitors induction before a project presentation. Following this, visitors will then be provided with PPE and escorted around the project by a member of the construction team where they can see first-hand the works that are taking place behind the scenes.
Site entrance is located on Undershaft (EC2N 4AF) and the Project Office is based on Level 3.
|Directions||The closest tube station to the project is Bank (Exit by The Bank of England and it is a short walk through Cornhill Road) The closest mainline stations to the project are Fenchurch Street and Liverpool Street. There is no parking available on or near the project. On arrival, visitors should enter the site entrance via Undershaft (EC2N 4AF) and sign in with the security team who will direct you to the Project Office.|
