Willmott Dixon Interiors are proud to be transforming a former factory building in Islington into a cutting edge film academy for 16-19 year olds to learn about film production techniques such as behind-the-camera roles, costume design, production management, distribution and marketing.

The scheme itself includes the partial demolition of part of the central and southern section of the existing four storey building and replacement with a three storey building and roof amenity space. Works also include the replacement of external windows, façade repairs, extension of two existing stair cores and lift overrun and complete fit out in order to facilitate the use of the building.

Visitors will recieve a tour of the site and get a glimpse into the progress of the refurbishment works that are taking place. This visit will also include discussions around the different types of roles and career opportunities that are available within the construction industry.
