We are constructing a new teaching and learning facilities at the West Down Campus at the University of Winchester.

On this project we are delivering a 250 seat auditorium, art gallery, café, food hall, library, social learning areas and teaching spaces on the existing space on its West Downs site on Romsey Road, Winchester.

In addition, pedestrian safety across Romsey Road will be improved by a new signalled pedestrian crossing and the relocation of the vehicular entrance to West Downs, making access to the site and the bus stop easier.

The development will provide state-of-the-art facilities to improve the quality of teaching space, meet the changing demands of higher education and be home to the University's new computer and digital-related degree programmes.

The project also presents an exciting opportunity to create an impressive addition to Winchester’s civic buildings at the main gateway into the city centre from the south-west.

The project is due to complete in October 2019.

A presentation about the project and careers in construction, followed by a guided tour and an activity organised by our project team.
