STARTED ON SITE IN JANUARY 2019,
Willmott Dixon is delivering the project on behalf of our customer North Somerset Council, there is no other centre in the region that provides the facilities offered by this development. The Food Works will be a dynamic food and drink innovation centre, offering food-grade business units. There will be product development facilities and food laboratories, with active business support. There will be two buildings, one of which will include an exhibition space, meeting rooms and areas for product development and research. The second will include 12 business units of up to 100sqm.
THE SITE HAS JUST BEN STARTED SO ITS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO SEE THE FIRST STAGES OF CONSTRUCTION. DUE FOR COMPLETION IN MARCH 2020.
At the stage of the visit in March the steel frame would have commenced to the production building and the car park and main road formed to base tarmac, the ground workers will be progressing with drainage and road construction to the perimeter of the buildings.
