The Michael Uren Biomedical Engineering Research Hub is one of the flagship buildings at Imperial College London’s White City Campus, a new 23-acre district dedicated to research and innovation in science, engineering, medicine and business. Designed as a collaborative facility, the Hub will provide space for Imperial’s world-leading researchers, engineers, scientists and clinicians to work alongside one another to address some of the most pressing biomedical and healthcare problems of our time. It will further life-changing research into new and affordable medical technology.

The construction of the Hub has been made possible thanks to a £40 million gift from Imperial alumnus Sir Michael Uren OBE and his foundation – the largest ever donation made to a London university by an alumnus, and one of the largest in the history of any UK higher education institution.
