The A14 Cambridge to Huntingdon project is a £1.5bn Highways England Road scheme. Work is being carried out by the A14 Integrated delivery Team (IDT) consisting of Skanska, Balfour Beatty, Costain and our design team Atkins and CH2M. The work includes;

Building a major new 12 mile bypass between Swavesey and Brampton

Widening the A1 between Brampton and Alconbury

Widening the existing A14

Improving junctions on the A14

Improving Huntingdon Town Centre

Building new local access roads

Your visit will consist of an A14 project talk, guided site tour and a chance to meet some of the team and ask questions after. PPE will not be required for this visits but please do wear comfortable clothing and appropriate footwear.

Leave the A14 at Junction 24 and take the A1198 to Royston/Papworth

At the roundabout take the 1st exit A1198 towards Royston/Papworth

Follow the road and the compound can be found on the left-hand side.
