Portsmouth International Port is one of the largest investment projects in the port's history that will generate 100 new posts required for port health, operations, customs, and border force operations.
The project includes the construction of a new border control building for Portsmouth International Port. The site stretches across nearly two acres and once complete, will include refrigerated units for chilled and frozen products, loading bays, inspection rooms and inspection areas.
On arrival, all visitors will receive a brief introduction about the project, the associated health and safety, the site team, and the ongoing works. Visitors will then be provided with PPE and escorted around the project by a member of the site team where they will have an opportunity to ask questions about working in construction.
Information on Open Doors 2022 will be released shortly
