With over 30 years’ experience, St. Modwen creates meaningful and inspiring places. At Kingsgrove, St. Modwen is bringing new, carefully crafted homes to the region by providing contemporary living in bespoke and beautifully designed houses that complement the surrounding, picturesque, rolling countryside of Wantage.
The 227 acre site at Kingsgrove is gradually evolving into a new settlement of 1,500 homes inspired by the locale, creating a new community for everyone to be proud of. The scheme will provide:
A new primary school
A neighbourhood centre including community amenities
A pub/restaurant, shops and offices
Sports and recreation areas
All these are set around a central park.
St. Modwen Homes will deliver half the homes on site while the remaining 750 will be delivered by other leading housebuilders including CALA and Bellway, who are already on site.
Thursday, 19 March
Your visit will start on site at our careers exhibition with an introduction to the project and a short briefing on Health and Safety.
You will then be kitted up to tour one of the largest developments in the region and hear about the different companies and stages of build with experts from two of the leading housebuilders on site, St Modwen Homes and CALA Homes.
The tour will include the first stages of build from the Project Manager, Ray Lenton, and Contracts Manager, Mark Hughes from St Modwen Homes. You will then meet the Contracts Manager, Nick O'Shea from CALA who will take you through the first fix and finishing stages of the build process.
This is a unique opportunity to see first hand how we build important new homes for people and we look forward to welcoming you on site to get a taste of the many exciting careers within our growing industry
