About Gascoigne East Phase 2
We are bringing our regeneration skills to the east side of the Gascoigne Estate, which we are transforming into a modern, environmentally friendly community.
Phase 2 of Gascoigne East will be delivering 382 new homes of which 57% will be affordable housing. Across the site, you will be able to see construction in various stages, with our most developed building seeing some of the homes now having their kitchens and bathrooms installed.
A key aspect of this development will be its sustainable and cycle-friendly credentials, with a targeted 40 per cent cut in CO2 emissions from energy produced by the homes against what normally would be expected by Building Regulation thanks to an array of rooftop photovoltaic cells and connection to the district heating system. There are also plans for over 1,000 cycle parking spaces.
Activity
Once you arrive on site, you will join us in our site for a health and safety briefing before putting on your hi-vis and hard hats and going out on site to see Block F in its finishing stages alongside completed blocks E2 & C1.
Our team will be informing you all about the build that is currently taking place, hear about the number of job roles on the site and how some of our apprentices are so local that they are now making their mark on the place they call home!
