The Rosalind Franklin Institute is a new national institute, funded by the UK government through UK Research and Innovation, dedicated creating technologies which will advance life science. These technologies will allow us to understand the human body better than ever before, seeing the molecules of life, our cells and systems in new ways.

Based at Harwell, the Franklin will be home to 150 researchers, working with partners across the UK and internationally from academia and industry. The Franklin will be an inspiring and collaborative place to work.

2020 marks the centenary of Rosalind Franklin’s birth.
