About Dyson Cancer centre

New £30m flagship building, that will provide state-of-the-art amenities for patients.

 Kier will deliver the 6743m2 Dyson Cancer Centre which will bring the majority of its cancer services into one space, with oncology, chemotherapy and radiotherapy services and a 22-bed in-patient ward. The centre will include a Macmillan Wellbeing Hub, offering advice and support to patients and their families at every step of their cancer journey.

 Procured through ProCure22, the new building, situated on the existing estate, has been funded by Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) as part of its New Hospital Programme, as well as £10m which has been fundraised by the Bath community through its The Forever Friends Appeal, including £4m donated by the James Dyson Foundation.

Kier started main works in July 2021 and completion is expected to be Summer 2023.
