About Flaxyard Peckham
The project comprises of 120 new affordable homes. This will include 96 council homes for social rent as part of Southwark Council's commitment to tackling the housing crisis locally by building thousands of new council homes accross the bourough, and 24 shared ownership homes. The scheme will also include disabled car parking, cycle storage for residents and commercial space on the ground floor together with landscaping of the surrounding areas.
The scheme is bordered by Peckham library, leisure centre, high street, primary and secondary schools and existing homes.
Activity
During the site visit, all visitors can expect an house keeping and attendance registration, followed by a brief overview of the project. After that, visitors will then be taken to visit the site by a member of the project team. Throughout the tour, visitors will be able to see the construction take place in front of them as the site will be live with all hands on deck.
