Activity

During the session visitors will be able to see the work that has been carried out so far in refurbishing the seven-storey 79,653 sq ft commercial office building on the corner of Colmore Row in central Birmingham.

The new design will simplify the two existing entrances to the building, which fronts Cathedral Square, and provide a cleaner street frontage with a new glazed, automated main entrance door.

Welcome features will include a new double height reception, entrance lighting and three dimensional, back lit signage, while the building’s existing art deco style metal work will be retained and refurbished.

Willmott Dixon Interiors will carry out external facade works and a full M&E replacement, with new terraced areas added to levels one and seven of the building and former amenity space transformed into additional office facilities. Washrooms will be upgraded throughout the building.
