About HS2 Chalfont St Peter Vent Shaft

Visit to first ventilation shaft on the Chiltern Tunnels which run from the M25 north to Wendover beneath the Chilterns. The Tunnel Boring Machines reached Chalfont St Peter last year. We are now working on completely some of the Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation (MEICA) works on site of the Chalfont St Peter Vent Shaft.


Attendees will be asked to arrive at South Portal, where a shuttle bus will be ready to take them at Chalfont St Peter. At the site you will be able to view the deep ventilation shaft, and speak to engineers.
