John SISK & Son Ltd will be bringing jobs and training opportunities, as part of a £168M development in Central Birmingham.

John Sisk & Son Ltd has been appointed preferred contractor by MODA for the Great Charles Street neighbourhood in Birmingham City Centre.

The redevelopment of Ludgate Hill Car Park, which has remained undeveloped for more than 70 years, will create 722 new homes alongside a gym, roof terraces, communal lounges, workspace, as well as a new public realm and space for retail and hospitality businesses.

The three-year project will consist of a 39-storey tower plus lower rise buildings and will create hundreds of new jobs and generate £92 million gross added value to the West Midlands. The project will be delivered under the Birmingham Business Charter for Social Responsibility, which aims to boost the local economy through supporting the local supply chain and creating job opportunities.
