About Darley Street Market
The new Darley Street Markets located in the centre of Bradford will be a hub for local communities to buy fruit and veg, shop in boutique shops and spend time in the new street food area. The project is due for completion in Summer 2023 for Bradford Council and is the start of a new and exciting city centre for the people of Bradford.
The project has delivered opportunities for young people within the area by working with Bradford College and University of Bradford through work experience, apprenticeships and workshops.
Activity
Visitors will be given an Intro to Kier workshop which will take around 20 minutes and gives them an insight into Kier Construction Yorkshire and the projects we are currently delivering alongside a walk around site with the project manager and an opportunity for a Q&A with the wider project team.
Trainees and Apprentices will also be on hand to answer any questions about early careers.
