New 2 storey concrete frame for a new PET-MRI scanner for the University of Sheffield. The ground floor is for a future use of a Cyclotron and will be left as a shell for Phase 2 of the scheme to come later. The unit is an expansion of the current MRI facilities at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital and will increase scanning and research capacity.
Visitors will be able to see the completed or preparatory works of the ground floor slab and potentially the start of the next floor. There will be a tower crane on site and they’ll be able to understand the logistics of what we are doing.
