About Salisbury Sail Academy

The refurbishment of existing University Technical College and police station in Salisbury to provide a 150 pupil all-through SEND school (Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) for children aged 4-19) for the Department for Education and Reach South Academy Trust.

Works include:

Refurbishment and reconfiguration of existing internal spaces

Demolition of external workshops and garages

Reconfiguration of external spaces.

Activity

Visitors will first be given a site induction and safety briefing.

Next a short presentation will outline Tilbury Douglas' history in construction, our core roles and our visions and values for the future. Then some more in depth information regarding the site itself, the programme, and works.

Time will also be alotted to discuss careers in construction, possible pathways, and oppurtunities through Tilbury Douglas.

Finally, the visit will end with a tour of the site and works subject to the live work and safety.
