The completed development will be a single, triangular 12 storey building plus basement, with a unique external cladding system to all elevations inclusive of render to the top floor.

In total the building will comprise 435 student bedrooms arranged as 360 en-suite bedrooms within maximum 8 bedroom clusters and 75 studio bedrooms (4 of which DDA compliant).

On Tuesday 19th Feb, the concrete frame / structure will be progressing on site. Given the timing of the visit this will be the only site activity / contractor working on site with the frame being at level 3 to 4 in February . Vertical elements such as columns / sheer walls and stairs will be installed along with the floor slabs being cast and poured. Visitors can observe these works being undertaken from a viewing area at Ground Floor Level whilst a senior manager from Bouygues Construction talks through the project and on-site operations.
