About Walsgrave ED
The project is to expand the current adult and childrens A&E to provide more space in both of these departments to allow for increased capacity. To do this the project has been split into nine phases to enable the works to take place at the same time as maintaining hospital function. Each phase consist of a full strip out, removing old services and walls followed by new fit out to bring everything to current hospital standards.
Activity
The site is quite small so prior to the tour a presentation will be given to fully outline the project and delve into complexities faced and the challenge of the Mechanical and electrical fitout. This will be in the form of medical gases, domestic water and other medical services. Partition install and fit out – focusing on fire integrity and compliance with other interfaces such as fire dampers. A range of fitout operations including whiterock, FF+E and IPS installation.
