About Virtual Reality Scaffolding Training

We use Virtual Reality to train operatives in areas such as risk aversion in scaffolding training. Our award-winning training has used technology and psychology to train response in high-risk environments on-site.

Activity

An insight into the importance of risk aversion when working at height through trying your hand as a scaffolder via Virtual Reality. We are pleased to offer a presentation on working within a scaffolding company, which includes some very high-profile projects we have been involved in, such as The Shard, and how you can enter the scaffolding or construction industries.  Attendees will also be given the opportunity to use one of our Virtual Reality headsets to try being a scaffolder, ensuring they have all the correct PPE, have made their work area safe and are performing their operations correctly and are given examples of the importance operating safely in a site environment. The event will be supported by GKR Scaffolding staff who will be able to answer any questions you have on scaffolding training and working, and on entering the industry through different routes.

This event can be facilitated either at GKR’s offices (SE1 2UN) or we can bring the equipment to your school/college (within one hour travelling distance of SE1 2UN). This opportunity is available on 14 and 16 March 2023 only.  If wishing to attend GKR’s offices the maximum group size would be 15.
