About York Central
York Central is a £100m infrastructure project in the heart of York, which will see the creation of a new road behind the station to allow for massive regeneration works on the old Leeman Road. Work includes, demolition of exisiting buildings, brownfield road construction, construction of a new bridge, works on an existing bridge and all related drainage/utilities work.

Current site activity includes;
breaking down and crushing of concrete on site
demolition of existing buildings to make way for the new road
creation of an access track through millenium green
junction works at Cinder Lane
piling work at Water End
