Tilbury Douglas are undertaking the redevelopment of Braidhurst Industrial Estate in Motherwell. They are refurbishing existing industrial units and erecting new build units. The aim of the estates is to home start up companies based in Lanarkshire.
The aim of the project is to realise Braidhurst Industrial Estate’s potential and act as a demonstrator project for similar scale industrial estates across North Lanarkshire. The scope includes the construction of new, carbon net zero incubator units, along with the refurbishment of six small industrial units. In addition, Tilbury Douglas will be overhauling and upgrading Braidhurst’s infrastructure including road, footpaths, drainage, lighting, and the estate’s boundary, improving estate car parking provision through the construction of a new car park on a vacant site, installing new infrastructure to ensure that businesses can connect to high-speed broadband and aesthetic improvements, including new signage, pedestrian footpaths, cycle access and storage facilities
