Galliford Try is offering workplace visits to their Brentwood School Expansion for Trafford Council.
Brentwood School is a SEND school for learners aged 11-19 in Sale, Trafford. Commissioned by Trafford Council, the £6.3m project includes a new teaching wing to increase the school’s capacity to support more learners in Trafford.
The project duration is 52 weeks, with completion in August 2025. During Open Doors, the project will be in week 29, with bricklaying and construction of the roof underway.

Activities
Each 1-hour visit is delivered by the Project Manager and includes a presentation about health and safety, followed by a behind-the-scenes tour of the live construction site (hard hats and PPE will be provided).
The visit also explores career opportunities in construction, including some of the less obvious roles in design, planning, and pre-construction teams, along with some myth-busting.

Educational Visits:Visits limited to educational institutions only.
Minimum age: 16 years old
Anyone under the ages of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Accessibility:Parking is not available on site. The following buses have routes that pass close to the site: 19 Firsway , 249 Altrincham via Hospital and Sale, 764 Woodheys.
