About the event

Creation of a new enclosed atrium in the Queens’ Building at Queen Mary University of London through the partial demolition of the ground floor structure, alterations to basement level and the erection of a new glazed roof over the existing courtyard. New café and seating facilities will be inserted at basement level. It is also proposed to reconfigure the existing south entrance and internal areas of the foyer and reception so as to provide level access to the building. At the time of the site visit we will be approx 20% complete.
