About the event
Kier Construction is working with Cheshire West and Chester Council on Winsford’s town centre regeneration which will include the redevelopment of Winsford Cross Shopping Centre, the creation of a new public square and the delivery of an 8,200 sq ft community hub. In later phases, the prohect will look to create further retail space.
Phase one of the project will see the demolition of Queen’s Parade and Fountains Court. The buildings will be replaced with a 1,800 sq ft Costa Coffee drive-thru, as well as a 26,600 sq ft B&M store with an 8,800 sq ft garden centre attached.
Visitors will also have access to a new 168-space car park, as well as improved footpaths and cycle access.
