About the event
At Wixams 6FE we will be delivering a new sports hall, teaching block and an all weather pitch for Wixams Academy.
When you come to visit our project our team will be completing 1st fix M&E & 2nd fix M&E.
This usually takes place after the shell of the project is wind and watertight, which means the key features such as plastering, wiring electrics and insulating can get underway.
The internal works are collectively referred to as first fix, which is essentially the infrastructure prior to the walls being plastered. The second fix is therefore when all the visible fittings and products will be installed, such as flooring and tiling etc.
This is an exciting time to have a look around the project as there will be a lot to see!
Activities
When you arrive on site one of our team will give you a safety briefing then take you for a tour around site where you can see all of our supply chain partners and team members working hard to deliver a quality building for our customer.
