Feedback from Open Doors 2016

  • Great presentation, great video and skilled people.
  • Interesting tour, guides were very helpful.
  • It exceeded expectations; it was a very good event which the students found invaluable.
  • It gave me a complete inside about construction projects and gave me more confidence of what I really want to do in my future.
  • It gave my son an insight into the variety of careers available within construction. He had a great day and came out of the visits enthused!
  • It was even better! wasn't rushed in any way - was longer than I'd anticipated - the site manager was TOTALLY BRILLIANT - and every single person we encountered, met or passed on the site was friendly, smiled and said 'hello'.
  • Very welcoming from all. It was truly "open doors" as the whole site was accessible and we got a lot of information from the staff.
  • What an amazing way to inspire a future generation - and make links with local communities! MORE! MORE! MORE! Pleaseeeeeee!
  • Gives our learners the opportunity to experience construction from the perspective of a large corporate contractor - invaluable when making decisions on future training and qualifications.
  • Great opportunity for the pupils to see the theory at work. They left inspired!
  • It is invaluable for getting new people and young people, or people like myself who are currently seeking a career change within the construction industry.
  • Shows our learners what a real life site is all about and also puts into practice a lot of what we teach them. They then get the link between what we teach and what really happens in the real world.
