Kier Group plc Contact

The construction project is a new multi-use public library, council offices and Police Hub. The building has recently been officially named "Castle House", the four storey building is being built on the site of the old St Giles and St Georges school in the centre of town, with the first phase of the works now complete.

The site was set up in late summer 2016 with the concrete foundation and steel works taking place up to the end of the year. Early 2017 sees the work enter the second phase, including the external envelope of the building and completion of the internal concrete floor slab. Later 2017 phases will see work to the external elevations and the construction of the internal layout and first fix internal completions.

Address Newcastle Hub, Barracks, Newcastle Under Lyme.

The site is located on Queens Park and is accessed by foot on the bus station side of the main A527 heading towards the iron market end of the town centre and before the roundabout at the old Jubilee Baths.
