Hallsville Quarter Phase 2

Bouygues UK Contact

Construction of the second phase of Hallsville Quarter, Linkcity’s major regeneration project creating a new district centre for Canning Town, started in early 2015.

Phase 2 provides a gateway into Canning Town’s new district centre, with the beginning of the new pedestrianised high street, which runs down the spine of the entire development area. Shops, cafés, restaurants and a 196-bedroom Ibis hotel, animate and bring life to the space, while landmark residential towers provide 349 private and affordable shared ownership homes.

Additional public spaces, secure car parking for around 300 cars and facilities for cyclists are also included.

At the heart of the residential scheme for Phases 1 and 2 is the 70,000 sq ft courtyard garden with secure bicycle parking. Phase 2 houses the masterplan’s tallest buildings, forming a cluster with the adjacent Vermillion tower on Barking Road. The Phase 2 residential towers announce an invitation to the new High Street and act as a sign post to the overall development.

Underground car parking will also be provided for residential and commercial use.
