Embodied Carbon We are committed to promoting innovative design, procurement and construction methods to minimise material use and reducing the embodied carbon of our
construction projects. We will offer comprehensive preconstruction environmental analysis for all major projects to identify opportunities for waste reduction, fewer vehicle movements
and lower embodied carbon construction.
Committed to minimising carbon emissions In recent years, McLaren has been dedicated to understanding our impact on the environment. We have received expert support to define our strategy and collect data, ensuring our carbon footprint was measured accurately. We’re now in a position to operate a strong and viable environmental strategy to hit the ‘big ticket’ sustainability targets shown below. We have also been awarded the Planet Mark certification, an
accreditation that represents our success in establishing a certified operational carbon footprint. Our baseline includes all offices and construction sites within relevant scope 1 and scope 2 emissions.
Committed to minimising resource consumption
To go beyond what is expected of every contractor, we are collaborating with the supply chain through material passporting to reduce single-use plastics. Also, establishing robust audit and traceability processes to check the provenance of all materials to minimise waste. Committed to securing 100% of waste diverted from landfill. Our plan of action and our buying power will focus on driving site
Our People
At the heart of everything we do is our people. They are at the core of McLaren’s continuing success and we wouldn’t be where we are today without them. To ensure our people grow and develop, we actively support them through career pathways with the latest training and development.
Our business structure allows our workforce to build relationships with company leaders in a more personal manner. McLaren leaders believe in learning from everyone on the team
and value being challenged with innovative ideas. We work for future generations to understand the construction process begins before we start on site. We continue looking for the brightest and
best to help us embrace technology and achieve consistently flawless project delivery.
