The children were literally buzzing with excitement and I was blown away by their interest and questions.
The site visit was more than just an eye-opener - it felt like a glimpse into my future and ignited my passion to be part of the industry.
A real insight for our students to back up what they learn about construction in college.
I had no idea there were so many specialised jobs in the industry and for the first time I could see where my skills would fit in.
Opportunities like this empower our young talent to envision their future careers with confidence.
It was a great way to get an experience of the workplace and see the variety of options available after school.
