In 2018, Kier was appointed by DoE (Department of Education) to deliver a new multi-million-pound teaching block in Harrow.

The 27000 sq ft project will replace the existing 1950s school and will feature;

- 18 general teaching class rooms

- 2 large food tech rooms

- 3 ICT rooms

- Library

Once the new teaching block has been constructed and the school have moved in to the new block, part of the existing school will be demolished.

As soon as the landscape and a new sports pitch have been completed, the site will be handed back over to the school where over 1100 of pupils will benefit from these first-class facilities.

Throughout the duration of the project, Kier has engaged with the local community, ensuring that neighbouring properties and shops receive monthly updates of the job in a newsletter.

This is an opportunity to see behind the hoardings of the Hatch End High School Project which we are delivering in Harrow.

At Kier, we are passionate about showcasing all that the built environment has to offer. During this 1-2 hour tour we will provide;

1.  A site induction – a welcome to the site, cover health and safety and introduce you to key members of the team.

2. Project overview - an introduction of the project itself and confirm the key milestones

3. Walk around the project

4. Careers within the built environment – a brief overview of the various jobs available and routes to entry

5. Questions & feedback

We are passionate about showcasing all that the built environment has to offer and we look forward to showing you around this specific project. Our team will be happy to assist with any questions you may have; from site specific to how to start a career within our profession.
