Construction of New Justice Centre for Scottish Courts & Tribunals Service in the Longman area of Inverness. The £21 miliion project will be complete in January 2020.  

The building will incorporate 6 court rooms, custody areas along with office accommodation for SCTS and other associated stakeholders. Construction floor area amounts to approximately 6500m2 over 3 storeys using concrete frame, precast concrete cladding and curtain walling.

During the doors open event at the IJC visitors will assemble at the site office, Teas and Coffees will be provided.

Visitors will be given a brief overview of the project and Robertson. PPE will be provided and then all visitors will be inducted before taken for a tour of the welfare facilities and then into the actual site.

The group will be taken to various QR posts around the site where the visitors can scan the code and open up a viewer on their smartphones or view the 3D model on one of the Site Management’s Tablets.

Visitors will be encouraged to ask questions and management will answer to the best of their ability.

The site entrance is located off the Northbound Longman road A82 dual carriageway next to the former Inverness College and opposite the BP Petrol Station.

For those able, please report upstairs to the site office reception. If you require any assistance our gateman will meet you and assist.

Our site offers pre booked disabled parking. Please advise if any assistance is required. Not all areas of the site will be disabled friendly, but the site team will tailor your tour to suit the areas that access can be gained and we will use the technology available on site to ensure that you get to see what the rest of the group sees.

Child Restrictions yes

We have delivered many primary school groups on site and see no problem with having children attend the event if they are suitably supervised.

It is a live site so therefore parents/guardians should assess this as being suitable for their children.

Reins can be available if required.

A breastfeeding room will also be available for the duration of the doors open event for those who require a quiet room.
