In November 2017, Kier Construction Eastern was appointed by Cambridgeshire County Council to design and build the first phase of the Northstowe Education Campus.

The scheme comprises of a new 4FE secondary school, 4FE secondary sports facility – with all-weather sports pitches, a 12FE centre – with library, arts, drama, music and dining facilities, and a 110 place SEN school and external landscaping.

Kier are currently working with local schools and academies to provide support and input into their construction related curriculum inclusive of site and office visits.

This is an opportunity to see behind the hoardings of the Northstowe Education Campus project, we are delivering on the new Northstowe Development in Cambridgeshire.

At Kier, we are passionate about showcasing all that the built environment has to offer. During this 1.5 hour visit we will;

1. Site induction – a welcome to the site, cover off health and safety and introduce you to key members of the team

PPE will be provided, but we ask that all visitors wear sturdy shoes or boots.

2. Project overview - an introduction of the project itself and confirm the key milestones

3. Walk around the project

4. Careers within the built environment – a brief overview of the various jobs available and routes to entry

5. Questions & feedback
