Kier Construction is working with Glasgow Life as part of a £66 million capital project called the Burrell Renaissance is now underway to safeguard this important collection and its architecturally significant home for current and future generations to enjoy.

For the first time, three floors of the building will be dedicated to presenting this world-class collection, increasing gallery space by over a third. Visitors will be able to see important objects from the collection which have not been seen for decades or have never been on display before. Enhanced public spaces and facilities include a special exhibition gallery to house exhibitions of varying sizes, from the display of individual masterpieces and small groups of objects, to larger, international touring exhibitions, connecting the Burrell Collection with peer institutions from across the world.

This is an opportunity to see behind the doors of the Burrell Renainance that we are delivering in Glasgow.
