About Somerset Road, Wimbledon - All England Lawn Tennis Club

Step into the future of construction at our Somerset Road project in Wimbledon where we are delivering a members’ complex for the All England Lawn Tennis Club.

The integrated world-class facility, adjacent to the venue for tennis’ most prestigious event, The Championships, Wimbledon, includes 12 new tennis courts (six indoor and six outdoor) and associated club house facilities; a single-storey underground car park that will be the hub of The Championships’ courtesy car operation; an enhanced arrivals experience for competitors at The Championships; and upgraded Centre Court chiller plant. The building’s double-curved roof structure and surrounding landscaping will ensure it blends in sensitively with the local area, retaining the AELTC’s guiding principle of ‘tennis in an English garden’ throughout its grounds.

We will kick-start your visit with a brief site induction and presentation before kitting you out in protective clothing and taking you onto site to see the fantastic project being constructed.

The building is almost finished so this is your opportunity to get a sneak peek at some of the fantastic facilities before it is handed back to The All England Lawn Tennis Club. In addition to the tour, we will have a few of our management trainees on hand to give you an insight into our great trainee programme and the exciting diverse roles within construction.
