Two new facilities housed in two buildings for South London &  Maudslet Hosptal Trust 

Douglas Bennett House

6 storey buidlig with eight modern new, adult inpatient wards: four Acute, one PICU, two specialist wards (adult eating disorders and neuropsychiatry) as well as the Tony Hillis Unit (high dependency rehabilitation unit for men). These have been designed by patients, carers, clinicians and specialist architects working together to create a modern fit for purpose wards, and a much-improved environment for patients and staff.

Children &  Young Persons Building
This 9 story  building will house the Institute for Children and Young People’s Mental Health at King’s College London and the Maudsley and provide space for high quality mental health care. It will be designed to enable clinicians and scientists to collaborate, share ideas and identify treatments that make a real difference to the lives of children, young people and their families.
