The project is a design, procurement and construction of a new-build residential development in Manchester city centre, immediately to the south-east of Victoria Railway Station.
Phase 1 encompasses the construction of two residential buildings of 25 storeys (Block 1)
and 20 storeys (Block 2). Phase 2 is the construction of a seven storey Office development. This has not been instructed yet however.
Building One will provide 293 apartments plus ground floor amenity space.
Building Two will provide 227 apartments plus ground floor amenity space and ground floor retail space.
Combined Gross Internal Floor Area of 43,204m2 (465,057 sqft).
Building 1 upper concrete floors are up to Level 9 with the safety screens beginning to become visibly prominent over the Manchester Skyline. The lower ground floor slabs are cast, and blockwork will be completed next week.
The unitized façade works are ongoing with unitised panels installed to level 4 and balcony curtain walling progressing to Level 2. Bathroom pods have commenced loading out and the benchmark apartment is now complete.
Building 2 slipform is currently at level 17 and will top out in the next period. All sub-structure works are now complete and upper floor slabs have commenced.
