About A63 Castle Street archaeology webinar

Oxford Archaeology is one of Britain’s foremost contracting archaeology units, with nearly 50 years in business, and currently some 250 employees. With offices in Oxford, Cambridge, and Lancaster, we are primarily involved with providing a range of services to fulfil requirements of the development planning process. These range from desk-based assessments to full-scale excavations, from small private extensions to national infrastructure schemes.
As a registered educational charity we have an extensive track record in outreach, from talks to organising community excavations and research projects. We are also proud of our multi-media publication record.

Around 90 archaeologists from Oxford Archaeology have been working in Trinity Burial Ground on the A63 Castle Street scheme in Hull, the largest scientific excavation of a post-medieval burial ground in northern England.
