About Elite @ EKFB - Immersive Induction Experience, Brackley

Health and safety is one of HS2's four core values, and alongside wellbeing is also one of six strategic themes to deliver our vision of being a catalyst for growth across Britain. Our goal is to create a railway designed, built and operated to the highest health, safety and security standards.

Created by Active Training Team (ATT) for EKFB, ELITE@EKFB is a one-day multi-media induction programme, based at a purpose-built centre in Brackley, Northamptonshire.

ELITE@EKFB uses high-quality production values, industry-leading technology and a hard-hitting narrative to deliver a powerful immersive experience, giving participants a lasting awareness of their responsibility for upholding the values of the project, and the practical communication tools to stay safe while working on site.Please watch our video here.

Activity

Attendees will experience 'ELITE Lite', a compact immersive training experience highlighting some of the dangers of working in a construction environment. Attendees will be taken through a number of scenarios leading up to a serious incident on site, played out by professional actors on different sets, before taking part in an 'unpick' session to discuss what went wrong and how the incident could have been avoided.
